Dr Claudiu Giuraniuc made a short presentation and poster at the 9th NHS Grampian Research Conference - Mind the Gap event that happened between the 4th and 5th of October, in the ONE Biohub, Aberdeen. He joined 50 experts from across Scotland who are tackling the biggest challenges that the NHS is facing, particularly when trying to bridge gaps across specialties. Dr Giuraniuc’s interdisciplinary work highlights the benefits of using microfluidics as tools for personalised medicine. The presentation and poster are part of the outcomes of a 2-year long research project funded by the NHS Endowment grant (approximately £12k), which ended in December 2023, and involved a collaboration with Dr Max Baldassarre, Dr Guy Bewick, Prof. Stefan Hoppler, and Prof. Valerie Speirs.
