Disability History Month (DHM) starts today! Running from 16th November-16th December, this national campaign highlights the struggles in society for equality and inclusion; and works to educate, celebrate success and inspire people for the future. The University has organised a series of events, talks and activities across the month for staff and students; please check out the DHM Webpage for more details.
Library staff are consistently developing and reviewing our collections. In honour of this campaign, we have created the DHM Reading List. Showcasing the wide variety of resources held by the University and our partners in Aberdeen City Libraries, we hope to continually add to them. As such, we're happy to look into ideas for new items. Please complete the Recommendations Form if you have any such requests. Finally, look out for exciting new displays of the physical stock in the Old Aberdeen Library and on Floor 2 of the Sir Duncan Rice Library.
