The Aberdeen Centre for Energy Law is co-organising the Conference on EU-Russian Energy Law together with the Groningen Centre of Energy Law and the Moscow State Institute of International Relations (MGIMO-University). The conference will take place on 30-31 May 2013 in Groningen and will focus on “The Legal Aspects of Guaranteeing EU-Russian Security of Energy Demand and Supply”. The objective is to depoliticise the debate on EU-Russia energy relations by proposing a purely legal perspective to the main issues that characterise EU-Russian cooperation in the energy sector.
This conference is part of a programme celebrating the 400 years relationship between the Russian Federation and the Netherlands.
This conference follows the Energy Forum that will be held on 29 May in Groningen.
