Job Description

The successful candidate(s) will join the School of Psychology as members of academic staff member on the Teaching and Scholarship track. This will involve supporting and leading aspects of teaching and learning in various taught programmes and will contribute to the delivery and assessment of teaching across all levels of study within the School.

The posts fall under the Scholarship career path, which attracts academic staff with an interest in applying state-of-the-art learning tools and methods to develop and deliver teaching programmes. The School promotes and supports excellence in education through research and development in teaching and learning.

The School is currently developing a new taught Masters programme in the Psychology of Mental Health, and we would particularly welcome applications from individuals with experience in mental health, clinical psychology, or wellbeing.

The School is also looking to improve the way it translates research findings to have impact beyond academia; to this end, any experience in applying research findings to real-world problems would be an advantage.

We have permanent and fixed term posts available and are keen to encourage applications from people interested in working on a full-time or part-time basis.

Salary will be at the appropriate point on Grade 7, £46,485 per annum (pro-rated for part-time staff).

Prior to employment, the successful candidate must be able to demonstrate their right to work in the UK.
