The Epidemiology Group is seeking to appoint a group Administration Coordinator.

Job Description

The position (as 82% fte; 30 hours per week) will involve delivering administrative support to the Epidemiology Group. The successful candidate will have experience of administration in a Higher Education setting and will have knowledge about the key administrative processes.

The Epidemiology Group has as its focus common musculoskeletal conditions and co-morbidities (pain, fatigue, inflammatory arthritis). We study their epidemiology, trials of management and undertake health services research about how to deliver best care to persons with these conditions.

The Epidemiology Group is also a key partner of the Aberdeen Centre for Arthritis and Musculoskeletal Health (https://www.abdn.ac.uk/acamh/), a team of scientists, clinicians and patients working together to seek a better understanding of rheumatic diseases, as well as the MRC and Versus Arthritis Centre for Musculoskeletal Health and Work (https://www.cmhw.uk/). In addition we currently host the British Society for Rheumatology in Psoriatic Arthritis Register (BSR-PsA, see www.abdn.ac.uk/bsr-psa), and the upcoming British Society for Antimicrobial Chemotherapy’s UK Antimicrobial Register (UKAR, see www.abdn.ac.uk/ukar).

Salary will be at the appropriate point on the Grade 4 scale, 82% of £25,742 per annum, pro rata.
