Database Manager, Geosciences (GEO468A)

We seek to recruit a Database Manager to sit within and support the GeoXtract project which is a Spin-off from the Sand Injectite Research Group (SIRG). 

Job Description

Sand Injection Research Group (SIRG) within the Geology, Geophysics & Planetary Science discipline area of School of Geosciences.

SIRG is a global leader in research of natural hydraulic fracturing and sand fluidisation in the shallow crust and enjoys a close working relationship with the subsurface energy sector, embracing discover and recovery of hydrocarbons and fluid sequestration.

The role is initially offered for 12 months, working alongside members of GeoXtract and the Sand Injectite Research Group, supporting the development of several commercial database products.

Salary will be at the appropriate point on Grade 5, £32,296 to £35,880 per annum with placement according to qualifications and experience.
