The CGEBM held a series of workshops on campus for St Machar and Northfield Academy thanks to a Public Engagement grant from the ISSF Wellcome Trust scheme.
Between January and March, CGEBM carried out three, two-day interactive workshops for over 60, S3 level pupils, from St Machar and Northfield Academies.
Workshops were held on site at the University in the Cruickshank Botanical Gardens, the Aberdeen Biodiversity Centre, with laboratory-based activities carried out in the Science Teaching Hub.
We really enjoyed these events, with fantastic groups of very engaged kids, many of whom had never visited a University campus before. We hope we have encouraged many of you to think about a STEM career.
