Biography
I joined HSRU in July 2001 and have been involved in a range of different research projects, including the MAVIS and PRISM trials. I completed her MSc in Health Services and Public Health Research is 2004. My MSc project involved a qualitative exploration of the reference frames used by people with Paget's disease when completing health-related quality of life questionnaires.
I joined the HSRU Knowledge Synthesis Team as a Systematic Reviewer (Research Fellow) in February 2008 and I have worked on various health technology assessments, including evaluations of surveillance mammography, robotic prostatectomy, ablative therapies for prostate cancer and interventions for male obesity. I am currently involved in the Health Technology Assessment Reviews (TAR) funded project activity.
I teach on the PU5526 Systematic Reviewing and PU5031 Evidence Based Health University of Aberdeen MSc courses.
