Biography

I am a research fellow based in Aberdeen Centre for Evaluation (ACE), formerly known as the Health Services Research Unit (HSRU). I joined the Centre in March 2024. The current project I am involved in focuses on understanding and reducing kidney care inequalities in Scotland. Before joining the Centre, I previously worked as a lecturer in Northern Cyprus.

I have health psychology background, gained MSc in health psychology from the University of Surrey in 2012 and PhD from the University of Hertfordshire in 2022. By using qualitative approach, I am interested in social determinants of health, particularly psychosocial aspects of chronic conditions in underserved groups.
