Wednesday 10th July 1.30-4pm Around Aberdeen How well do you know your local area? Come along and create your own tourist guide with your hints, tips and local knowledge. An art, craft and creative writing activity afternoon. |
Wednesday 17th July 1.30 -4pm Back to Ancient Greece Travel back in time to Ancient Greece and become a Greek potter. Decorate your own vases and leave mystery messages to puzzle archaeologists. |
Wednesday 24th July 1-4pm Eastwards to India Be inspired by the beautiful pictures of Islamic buildings in our Wanderlust exhibition. Design and make your own tile and contribute to a fantasy palace on the wall. |
Wednesday 31st July 1-4pm Up to the Arctic Stow away to the Arctic with 13-year-old David Cardno and find out about life and customs in the far North. Learn some Inuit words from Cardno’s own journal and make Inuit inspired artworks. |
Wednesday 7th August 1-4pm Into the Rainforest Follow in the footsteps on botanist James Trail and venture into the great Amazon rainforest. Learn about the different layers that make up a rainforest and make your own rainforest world. |
