The Nobel Prize for physics recently went to one of the most unexpected observations in Cosmology: The Universe is not just expanding but accelerating. We’ll look at the possible mysterious explanations - Dark Energy or a failure of Einstein's Gravity - which may happen if we live in more than four dimensions.
Pre-booking is essential by telephoning 01224 274348. The planetarium seats 30 and to ensure fairness we are restricting bookings to 2 seats per booking contact. Disabled access can be accommodated: please advise at the time of booking. This series is best suited to adults and older children. Enter the College by the Loch St entrance to Dino’s cafe where we will assemble prior to moving up to the planetarium. Very limited parking is available at the College but the nearby Loch St car park is open till late.
