Is cremation green? And do the ashes given back accurately reflect our remains? Come and hear about a new chemical alternative to cremation.
Our Cafe Scientifique Aberdeen CITY continues in February with a look at the science behind chemical alkali technology to reduce a body to ash. For years cremation has dealt with our physical remains after we die, but the ashes families get back are not what you might think. However, new flame-free technology may soon pave the way for a greener alternative. Come and find out more about this chemical alternative to cremation.
All the Cafe Scientifique CITY events are FREE and no booking is required - just turn up on the evening. The guest speaker will begin the evening with a short presentation, followed by a break and chance to get refreshments from the COSTA bar, and then an audience-led discussion will follow.
Please note that we have had to change the guest speaker from the advertised event, however the topic and format remain unchanged.
