A fun and relaxing workshop for students, focussed on composing graphic scores based on the exhibition, Walking with Birds.
Come and join us for a fun and relaxing workshop for students, composing graphic scores inspired by the exhibition ‘Walking with Birds’.In this workshop we will explore the stories of William MacGillivray and John James Audubon, and Audubon's book "Birds of America". We will then create a musical interpretation of what you have learned through the medium of graphic scores.It promises to be a fun and relaxing experience for any students who wish to take part.This event has been developed by students from the University of Aberdeen, Department of Community Music.
