The May Festival occupies a unique place in Aberdeen's Festival calendar, and is back for its 6th year running.
The Festival offers over 100 events for adults, families and schools’ and spans popular themes including literature, music, film, science, sport and Gaelic. The ever expanding Discover theme also gives audiences an insight into the cutting edge research going on at the University.
This year we will also ‘Celebrate Youth’ with a special dedicated strand to support Scotland's Year of Young People through a vibrant and engaging series of events for all ages and interests. And don’t miss our family fun Children's Programme which offers a number of great drop in events for all the family to enjoy.
The majority of the events are free, but booking will be required.
