Join Luis Jose Perez Calderon and Lloyd Potts from the University of Aberdeen to learn about this important topic

In this illustrated talk learn about oil spills at sea result in the contamination of coastal and deep sea environments. Oil can become trapped in sediments and have long-term environmental impacts. However, naturally occurring microbes have the ability to remove these contaminants. This process can be improved by remediation strategies to reduce damage to the marine environment.
