Professor Graham Hall will discuss Cantor's life and work.

This year marks the 100th anniversayr since the death of George Cantor (1845-1918). Cantor was a German mathematician and one of the founding fathers of modern day mathematics. 

This talk will take you on a journey through the rather interesting life of George Cantor and the consequesnces off his, controversial at the time, work on the general foundations of mathematics. 

Admission is FREE, although donations to ASC are welcome. No booking required.
