This talk will cover the emerging field of 'astrophotonics' the application of photonic technologies to astronomical instruments.
The emerging field of “astrophotonics” seeks to apply photonic technologies and concepts to astronomical instrumentation. The aim is to enable astronomical instruments with improved measurement capabilities and scientific output.
All events are in the Wood Foundation Centre for Science and Technology, Robert Gordon’s College, Schoolhill, Aberdeen at 7:00 pm on the dates listed and are FREE to attend. Public Parking is available surrounding the venue.
