Stuff Worth Knowing: Avoiding Nemo, how not to catch a fish using a smartphone

This is a past event
Aberdeen Science Centre invites you to find out about Stuff Worth Knowing at a series of evening talks.
Fishing requires selectively avoiding the capture of species or sizes of fish so as to meet the objectives of sustainable management. In the North Sea this goal is made more difficult by the mixed composition of the fish community. This talk by Dr. Tara Marshall of the University of Aberdeen will explore how information and communication technology can be used to improve tactical decision making at sea.
Talks are free, with donations gratefully received.
