Does the public engagement with research unit work primarily with scientists?
No, we embed public engagement in all research areas across the institution and work with every School. For example we support the ESRC festival of social science and work with the full calendar of Festivals that take place annually in Aberdeen.
We have excellent links with all seven research councils and other funding bodies that support research across disciplines. Many of our recent projects have been in partnership with the Arts and Humanities and Economic and Social Research Funding Councils.
