BDS4 student Rachel Jackson will shortly exhibit her work at the British Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry Conference in London. A selection of her work will be on display in the entrance foyer of the Institute of Dentistry at Foresterhill on Wednesday 23rd October from 2pm - 6pm.
As an artist Rachel aims to explain, define and explore the many facets of medicine and dental science by incorporating richly textured ceramics, acrylics and oils to create multi layered artwork inspired by anatomy and micro imagery. Known for her meticulous research of the subject matter, precision and ability to connect the beauty and majesty of science, Rachel finds new ways to transform education and to tell a story with a scientific edge.
