Folio 80v

Devotions to the body of Christ and the sacrament, continued.

Prayer, Domine Ihesu Christe qui patre, continued.

The author asks that he may, like Christ, undergo death and resurrection through the mortification of his old self and the assumption of a new, righteous life; that he may be made one with Christ's body, which is the church, until at the resurrection Christ glorifies his lowly body, making it like Christ's own glorious body, according to the promise of his apostle (John, 17:21-22); that he may rejoice in Christ's glory forever.
