Prayer, Domine deus omnipotens pater.
A prayer to God. The author asks that he may be victorious over his enemies;
that the power of his adversaries may be directed to good; that with God as his
strength, his refuge, his shield, as an inextinguishable fire, as an immovable
tower, his opponents may be scattered.
Domine deus omnipotens pater et fi\lius et spiritus sanctus. Da michi\ famulo
tuo, N, victoriam\ contra omnes inimicos me\os ut non possint michi resis\tere
nocere vel contradicere sed dirigatur virtus eorum\ et consilium in bonum. Et
tu deus sis fortitudo nostra\ et refugium meum et clipeus defensionis mee, et\
ignis inextinguibilis et turris immobilis for\titudinis, quatinus dispergantur
