The West in 2020: A View from Europe’s Past

Alumni, friends and supporters of the University of Aberdeen in the Washington DC area were invited to a unique event at the Bipartisan Policy Center (BPC) to consider what Europe and America might look like post Britain’s exit from the EU and in the year of the next presidential election. Joined by a panel of excellent speakers and moderated by Aberdeen alum and CNN correspondent Stephen Collinson, they also considered what could be learned about the fragility of today’s world by looking back into the shadows of European history of the last 100 years.
