The Confucius Institute of the University of Aberdeen is delighted to be taking part in Celebrate Aberdeen for the first time this year. Together with our local partners; Redphoenix Dance and Yee’s Hung Ga we hope to showcase some of the traditional Chinese art forms available right here in Aberdeen City and Shire.
Saturday 25th August
11am Union Street
We are delighted to be taking part in the main parade along Union Street on Saturday. Look out for the colourful dancers of Redphoenix and the Chinese lion’s from Yee’s Hung Ga.
Sunday 26th August
1:15pm to 2pm Union Square
Redphoenix dance will be giving a performance in Union Square. Come along and support our local Chinese dance group!
Redphoenix Dance group is open to new members and classes start back from 12th September!
Yee’s Hung Ga have various classes across City and Shire, new members welcome!
