Our campuses bring together the ancient and the modern, providing the perfect setting for research and learning

Campus

Teaching and research is primarily based at our Old Aberdeen and Foresterhill campuses. Arts, Social Sciences, Physical Sciences and the main University library are located in Old Aberdeen. The majority of Life Sciences and Medicine is based at Foresterhill.

We also have an international campus in Doha, Qatar.

Our Foresterhill campus is home to many of our Life Sciences and Medicine facilities.

Marischal College

Marischal College was founded in 1593 and merged with King's College in 1860 to form today's University of Aberdeen.
National Decommissioning Centre

Located in Newburgh, the NDC is a global leader in research and development for the energy sector.
Cromarty

The Lighthouse Field Station houses research and training in marine ecology and resource management.
