Confucius Institute TCM series presents;

Traditional Chinese Medicine Workshop

This TCM workshop will give people the opportunity to see, touch and smell some traditional Chinese medicines such as dried plant roots and herbs. Dr Qingbin Chi and Dr Lusha Lyu will explain the natural properties of such traditional medicines and how TCM practitioners might use them.

We are pleased to have Qingbin Chi and Lusha Lyu from CITCM visiting the Confucius Institute of the University of Aberdeen to give workshops and a public talk from 6-7th October as part of our TCM series. The Confucius Institute for Traditional Chinese Medicine (CITCM) at London Southbank University was founded in 2007. CITCM is distinctive from other Confucius Institutes because it as the world’s first Confucius Institute for Traditional Chinese Medicine. CITCM has an acupuncture clinic, runs a BSc (Hons) Chinese Medicine: Acupuncture course and has a specialist team who run professional wellbeing workshops.

Please note this is a workshop to learn about TCM culture, it is not for medical advice or traditional medicines for treatment.

This workshop will run twice to allow people a choice of time to attend. Friday and Saturday workshop have the same content. The public talk will cover a different topic.
