We are very fortunate to have the distinguished Professor CHEN Wangheng visiting us from Wuhan University next week. Prof. Chen is a specialist in environmental aesthetics who was the subject of a major international conference at Wuhan University in 2015 (<http://en.whu.edu.cn/info/1081/1923.htm>) including scholars from Finland, Japan, the Netherlands and the USA. His published works in Chinese and English cover a wide range from ancient Chinese bronzes to modern cityscapes including Chinese Environmental Aesthetics (2015) and Gardens, City Life and Culture (2008).
You are warmly invited to attend what will certainly be an exciting talk by Professor Chen on ‘Taoist and Confucian Traditions of Aesthetics’ in NK3, Monday 7th November from 15:30 to 17:00.
