Tai Chi is a form of gentle Chinese exercise, focusing on posture, alignment and breathing.

The Confucius Institute is pleased to offer a course of Tai Chi taught by Matthew Knight. ‘Meditation in Motion’ practiced regularly helps to reduce stress and improve physical well-being.

Matthew has studied Taijiquan (Tai Chi Chuan) & Qigong (Chi Kung) since 1998 with his teacher Tina Faulkner Elders and the Ruyi School of Taijiquan and Qigong. His personal training continues with the Ruyi School and he will be working with Master Chen Li Sheng on WUDang Mountain in China in the weeks preceding this upcoming course.

A six week course will commence on November 2nd and run every Wednesday from 1pm - 2pm in the MacRobert Building on the campus of the University of Aberdeen. The cost is £35 for 6 classes.
