Did you know there are over 200 University of Aberdeen alumni living in the New York area? There are always opportunities to get involved with your fellow alumni; here are some of the things they have been up to in the last few months!
Tartan Day Parade - April 8 2017
For the third year in a row the University's New York alumni chapter participated in the Tartan Day parade starting at West 45th Street and marching up 6th Avenue to 55th Street. This year there was bright sun and warm temperatures as several alumni and their friends and family marched behind the University of Aberdeen banner. This year we were also joined by the Lathallan School Pipe Band. A big thank you to all our alumni, their families, and friends who walked with us, and an extra thank you to everyone who came out for the first time. To register your interest for next year's parade, please email the New York Chapter Chair, Kirsten Hartil.
If you want to get involved, please email the chapter chair, Kirsten Hartil.
