Generative AI
Introduction to Generative AI
Generative artificial intelligence (Gen AI) is a type of technology that can produce various high-quality outputs using algorithms. This is done by learning patterns from huge datasets and then autonomously producing new content based on those datasets.
Gen AI is already profoundly changing business and industry, and it's important to understand what is meant by "Generative AI" and how we can best use this technology. You can find free courses in the Links section of this resource.
If you need to know more about guidelines related to using Gen AI in University assignments, please see our Academic Integrity & Referencing resource, or the Academic Integrity Homepage.
For more information about incorporating AI to empower learners, please visit the Gen AI page on Staffnet or explore resources provided by JISC.
