Digital Wellbeing
Improve your relationship with technology
Digital technology enables communication, gives us the freedom, and tools to improve our lives. But it can also distract us from the things that we care about, and can become overwhelming. ‘Digital Wellbeing’ is a term used to describe the impact of technologies and digital services on people’s mental, physical, social and emotional health.
Some easy ways to start improving your digital wellbeing include:
1. Monitor your activity on your device, and start setting boundaries for yourself. You can set daily limits on specific apps and websites.
2. Turn off notifications from your apps and unsubscribe from junk emails.
3. Plan device-free meal times, and prioritise real-life relationships.
