Overview of computing facilities
What does IT Services do?
IT Services provides information and communication services for staff and students, including wired and wireless networks, IT classrooms, telecommunications, audio visual services, software and hardware, email and calendaring, web resources, and corporate applications.
If you're new to the University, you might find our "IT Induction for New Students" a useful place to start - the resource covers everything from managing your password, to connecting to University wireless, exploring the VLE, using your new email account and knowing what technology is available to you.
Looking for help?
The Service Desk is your first point of contact for all IT queries and support. You can visit in person at various locations around campus, log a call via myit.abdn.ac.uk or by clicking on the blue Chat icon on this page.
