The UoA Cardiovascular Society will be hosting the first Scottish Undergraduate Cardiovascular Conference, inviting undergraduate medical students across the UK to participate. The conference will consist of talks from senior cardiologists, cardiac and vascular surgeons about career paths in these specialities, followed by the research project presentations given by participants. Finally, there will be a series of 4 workshops: Management of cardiac emergencies, CABG simulation, patchy angioplasty tutorial and an echocardiography taster. The workshops will be delivered by qualified doctors employed by NHS Grampian with the appropraite competencies.
