The Resuscitation Council (UK) Advanced Life Support (ALS) course is a standardised national course which teaches evidence-based resuscitation guidelines and skills to a wide range of healthcare professionals throughout the United Kingdom.

Within NHS Grampian over 200 staff, from paramedics, nurses, physician associates and medics, attend the courses each year ensuring that advanced resuscitation skills are maintained in the clinical workplace and in the pre-hospital environment.
