The Centre builds upon the recognition of the musculoskeletal research in Aberdeen as EULAR Centre of Excellence in Rheumatology and provides a cross-disciplinary, integrated framework that brings together NHS Grampian and the School of Medicine, Medical Sciences and Nutrition at the University of Aberdeen.
The Centre’s overarching aim is to undertake world-class research which informs the provision of high-quality care for patients with arthritis and musculoskeletal disorders in the North of Scotland, nationally and internationally.
