Confidential Meeting Guidelines

All reasonable efforts should always be made to ensure the confidentiality of private meetings (e.g. for support, discipline or grievance processes) for students, staff and the public. To ensure this is the case within a publicly available room booking system such as for the Suttie Centre, we must always:

  1. Make room bookings for such meetings without including information which can identify the type of meeting.
  2. Make room bookings for such meetings without including information which identifies the students, staff member or members of public invited.
  3. Staff making the booking or leading a process, may be identified i.e. where the meeting is not about them and they are not witnesses e.g. Dr Jack meeting students is acceptable but in all other circumstances should not be identified.
