A full-time undergraduate degree programme normally consists of 120 credit points per academic year. Some degrees require a different number of credit points to be taken and MyCurriculum takes account of this.
In exceptional circumstances the University will allow a student to take up less than 120 credit points. This is called a non-standard credit load.
If you wish to take less credits than normal for your degree please complete our Non-Standard Credit Load form and send to the relevant School contact.
Please note: There are risks associated with taking less than normal credit load and these are set out on the back of the form. Please make sure that you read these.
If the School approves your request, your Registry Officer will make the necessary changes to your course registration and contact you to tell you that this has been done.
