Please ensure that you have completed Online Registration and MyCurriculum fully. You will receive a confirmation email once MyCurriculum is complete. There is a wait between completing MyCurriculum and being able to access course areas on MyAberdeen. At busy times it can take up to 2 hours between completing MyCurriculum and being able to access course materials in MyAberdeen.

If you have completed all the required steps and waited the correct amount of time, please visit myit.abdn.ac.uk where you can log a ticket and find solutions. Alternatively, you can contact the IT Service Desk on servicedesk@abdn.ac.uk. Please include as much detail as possible.

You can only access MyTimetable after completing MyCurriculum. You will receive a confirmation email once you have successfully completed MyCurriculum. Please note: there is a delay of up to three hours between completing MyCurriculum and being able to access MyTimetable.

Some courses are capped. This means that they have a limit on the number of places available. The Catalogue will tell you if a course is capped and MyCurriculum will ask you to make alternative choices as back-ups for any capped course you have selected. The course timetable will show in MyTimetable only once the capped course allocation process has been run and you have received and email telling which course(s) you have been allocated.

If you have waited the appropriate time and still cannot access MyTimetable, please visit myit.abdn.ac.uk where you can log a ticket and find solutions. Alternatively, you can contact the IT Service Desk on servicedesk@abdn.ac.uk. Please include as much detail as possible.

If you have any issues while making class selections in MyTimetable, please use the red 'Report a Problem' button available at the top right of MyTimetable. This will provide the quickest response times. If this does not resolve your problem then please visit myit.abdn.ac.uk where you can log a ticket and find solutions. Alternatively, you can contact the IT Service Desk on servicedesk@abdn.ac.uk. Please include as much detail as possible.

If you have received a C6 email it is because there are concerns about your progress with, or attendance at, one or more of your courses. Further details can be found here: https://www.abdn.ac.uk/students/academic-life/student-monitoring.php

First, ensure that you have completed Online Registration (at minimum the Personal Details, Course of Study Details and IT sections). Once a section of the shield is complete it will change from grey to being in colour. If a section of shield is still grey it means you still have something to complete in that section. If you are having issues with Online Registration, you can email the team for help at ereg@abdn.ac.uk.

There is a wait between completing Online Registration and being able to access my Curriculum. At busy times it can take up to 2 hours between completing Online Registration and being able to access MyCurriculum. If you have only just finished Online Registration, please wait the two hours and then try again.

If you are still unable to access MyCurriculum, please visit the MyCurriculum Support page for more help.

There are several steps you need to complete in order to register. They can be found here.

Live-chat function

You can contact the Music Office to arrange a face-to-face meeting if you prefer. Use email, telephone or the live-chat function in the first instance to arrange a suitable time. The meeting will be one-to-one behind a screen for safety.

In accordance with University Guidelines, a face covering will be required in all Campus buildings.

Each slot is available for one hour of practice. Multiple slots can be booked but please be respectful of fellow students who may also wish to practice.

Due to the restrictions within each building, no other rooms, other than those designated for practice, can be used.

Due to the University restrictions, this room would encourage a high usage of the facility, therefore, it will not be in use for 1HS.

Access to use the recording studio is very restricted to allow PhD students priority. There is a booking system which is overseen by the music technician, Adam Cresser. Please email Adam for availability: adam.cresser@abdn.ac.uk

The current guidelines are for no rehearsals on campus in the 1HS, therefore, there will be no availability of rooms for rehearsal of groups or ensembles.
