The University of Aberdeen welcomes school and college groups to visit the campus. Our recruitment team would be happy to organise a presentation on a range of topics for senior pupils primarily in S4-S6 and college students. Examples of presentation topics we can deliver include:

Widening Access and Articulation

The Access & Articulation Team welcome school and college students to campus throughout the year. We would also be delighted to arrange a visit to your school or college to discuss support available. Please contact us directly for further information accessaberdeen@abdn.ac.uk.

Reach Aberdeen provides support to widening access school pupils interested in studying Medicine or Law. Reach offers a range of on campus and virtual events and opportunities to S4-6 in Aberdeen City, Aberdeenshire. Moray, Highland, Orkney and Shetland.

Visits to Secondary Schools for HE Fairs or Presentations

Helping to prepare young people for university and their future careers is of high importance to us. As such, the University of Aberdeen is delighted to receive invitations to university preparation events including career evenings, university fairs and careers displays. We receive a high number of invitations to school events each year and we endeavour to attend as many of these as possible. Visiting the University

Our Open Day is one of the biggest events in the University calendar and is one of the best occasions for prospective students to visit the University. During this day, the University showcases all it has to offer and gives prospective students a chance to get a taste of what studying in Aberdeen will really be like.

In addition to our Open Day, prospective students and their parents are welcome to visit the University by arranging a campus visit. The timings and availability of these visits will be dependent on staff availability.

We are also very pleased to arrange for Secondary School pupils to visit to campus as part of an arranged class visit. This usually includes a short presentation about the University and a tour of the campus led by one of our Student Ambassadors. Please email the UK Student Recruitment Team to enquire.
