- Archaeology Field Excavation

Join us at the University of Aberdeen’s award-winning North Picts team for three weeks of field training and a dedicated programme of guided tours of spectacular Pictish sites and monuments. During the field school you will learn the key skills of survey, excavation and post-excavation, and take part in uncovering a major lost Late Roman to Pictish multi-period hillfort in Fife. No prior excavation experience is necessary with students earning transferable University of Aberdeen credit while studying with experts in the field.

- Field and Lab Skills in the Biosciences

This intensive course will allow students to have a practical and field-based experience. Skills in various scientific disciplines will be developed with lab, field and in person tutorials; there will also be an opportunity for cultural experiences which are unique to the North of Scotland.
- Philosophy Summer School

Join us for the opportunity to study Philosophy in the Analytic Tradition, in our two week Philosophy Summer School programme. Cover topics such as Knowledge and the Internet, Testimonial Injustice, comparative Epistemology across Analytic and Chinese Philosophy, ethical issues concerning the use of AI, ethics and health care, and philosophical issues relating to Global Justice and International Law, as well as immersing yourself in the life and culture of Scotland and the United Kingdom.

This course will introduce students to the history and culture of modern Scotland from the seventeenth century to the modern day through a series of twelve classes and extra-curricular activities.
