France - Bordeaux Montaigne University

Originally established in 1971, the university is a humanist university. With a focus on arts, languages, literatures, human and social sciences, the university contributes meaningfully to the scientific debates of its day and works tirelessly to cultivate and nurture its fundamental values: independence, and freedom of thought.

The university is based in the city of Bordeaux on the east coast of France. The campus is firmly established across the communes of Talence, Pessac and Gradignan. The city has a vibrant night life, many sites of cultural and historical importance and a diverse student population.
