Undergraduate
The University of Aberdeen welcomes applications from students from Venezuela presenting a range of qualifications including
- GCE A Levels
- US High School Diploma (with other standardised tests including the SAT, ACT or APs)
- International Baccalaureate
Students presenting the Venezuelan high school diploma (Bachillerato) are normally required to complete a recognised Foundation year programme for admission to undergraduate study.

Postgraduate: Typically we will consider a Licenciatura (four years) as equivalent to a UK Bachelors with a grade of 81% (Sobresaliente) as equivalent to a 2:1 though this does vary depending on the grading system used by the institution. For other grading systems, a score of 14 from a well ranked university is considered comparable to a UK 2.1, while a score of 11 is considered comparable to a UK 2.2.
