Welcome to the University of Aberdeen. Founded in 1495, Aberdeen in one of the Ancient Universities of Great Britain and has a proud history of scholarship dating back over 500 years.
We have a long history of close educational links with North America, and welcome a growing number of US students to our beautiful campus each year. Some of our most famous graduates who have made a significant impact in North America include:
