The Student BMJ Applying to Medicine Career Event is back and the University of Aberdeen are looking forward to attending. Launched for 6th form prospective medical students in 2014, this Career's Event aims to explain the realities of a career in medicine and the steps required to gain a place at medical school. A variety of speakers will be in attendance to help demystify the medical application process and to get to heart of what medical schools are looking for in applicants.
This free event will take place on the afternoon of Friday 23rd October at the Business Design Centre in Islington. The event organisers hope to attract 400 school students and it is anticipated that the majority of attendees will visit alongside their school.
