IChemE’s Aberdeen Members Group and IMechE are co-hosting an engineering careers fair for Standard and Higher grade pupils from Aberdeenshire schools.
The event will have representatives from the University of Aberdeen as well as companies from across the UK from a range of industries including Oil & Gas, Food, Pharmaceuticals, Energy & Water.
Giving pupils the opportunity to meet with company representatives to gain an insight into work life as a young engineer in a variety of sectors within the local engineering industry.
In addition to companies and recent graduates, they can also interact with the universities to discuss subject choices and find out more about the respective degrees to enter a potential career in engineering.
Time: 09:00 to 12:00
Location: Station Hotel, 78 Guild Street, Aberdeen, AB11 6GN.
Cost: Free of charge, open to all pupils interested in engineering, and company representatives.
