ENGLISH LANGUAGE REQUIREMENTS
As well as a formal secure English language test like IELTS, Nigerian students have the option to submit their WAEC Year XII English result, with a minimum score of C6. This must be submitted through the WAEC portal to our admissions team (not via email) for it to be examined by our team.
Applicants who have taken NECO can submit official documentation confirming both your examination and token numbers for review by the admissions team.

Undergraduate - West African Senior Secondary School Certificate
Students who have achieved at least one “A” and two “Bs” in the West African Senior Secondary School Certificate can apply for direct entry to Year 1 for all programmes except Medicine. Some Programmes also have individual subject requirements -
Science: English, Maths and Science OR English and 2 x science subjects.
Law, Arts and Social Sciences : English
Engineering: English, Maths and Physics (Chemistry also required for Chemical and Petroleum Engineering)
Medicine: GCE A-levels, International Baccalaureate or Scottish Highers required.
Students who are not eligible to apply for direct entry to Year 1 can apply for our Foundation Course which is offered on campus in our International Study Centre.
