Undergraduate
Sijil Tinggi Persekolahan Malaysia (STPM)
Science: A CGPA of 3.0 or more, including grade B or better in two science-based subjects, or Mathematics and a science-based subject. A minimum grade of B is required where the Prospectus specifies good performance in a particular subject. Grade C or better in GCE O level English.
Engineering: A CGPA of 3.0 or more, including grade B or better in Mathematics and Physics. Grade C or better in GCE O level English.

Postgraduate: A score of Class 2.1 or 3.3 - 3.5 (Islamic University - 3.0-3.2) from a well ranked institution is considered comparable to a UK 2.1, while a score of Class 2.2 or 2.7-3.3 is considered comparable to a UK 2.2.
English Language Requirements
In many cases, applicants will not need to submit IELTS scores if they have achieved C6 or above in SPM1119 or if they have a letter from their former university demonstrating that their degree was taught in English.
