Undergraduate
University Entrance Examination (GAOKAO)
Arts and Social Sciences: Students with overall scores of 80% and above in the Senior High School Diploma will be considered for entry. Alternatively, good scores in the GAOKAO will also be considered.
Science: Students with overall scores of 80% and above in the Senior High School Diploma will be considered for entry. Students must score 80% or above in two science subjects. Alternatively, good scores in the GAOKAO will also be considered.
Engineering: Students with overall scores of 80% and above in the Senior High School Diploma will be considered for entry. Students must score 80% or above in Maths and Physics science subjects. Alternatively, good scores in the GAOKAO will also be considered.
Law: Students with overall scores of 85% and above in the Senior High School Diploma will be considered for entry. Alternatively, good scores in the GAOKAO will also be considered.

Postgraduate
A score of 70% is considered equivalent to a British 2:2, while a score of 75% is considered equivalent to a British 2:1
Students applying to the School of Engineering should score at least 65% (60% can be considered from prestigious institutions)
Students applying to the Business School should score at least 75% (70% can be considered from prestigious institutions)
Students from 211 universities with lower scores may be considered
