Summary

The Remmes & Martin Award offers a student on the 2024-2025 Masters of Public Health (MPH) programme an award of £2,000 to part fund their studies.

Description

The award is open to Home, Rest of UK and International students studying the on-campus MPH programme.

Please note that you can hold the Remmes & Martin Award for a Student of Promise in addition to the Aberdeen Global Scholarship.

Eligibility

Please note that this scholarship is only available for Aberdeen campus students.

The award is open to applicants who hold an offer of admission to the Masters of Public Health (MPH) degree programme at the University of Aberdeen starting in September 2024. Only students applying to undertake the programme on campus may be considered for the award; online students will not be eligible. If the selected student is studying the MPH programme part-time (over 24 months), the award will be granted in two annual payments of £1,000.

In addition to the above, applicants must have achieved, or expect to achieve, a UK First Class Honours degree (or international equivalent).

There is one award available and it will be awarded on the basis of merit - this is academic and career experience to date, and career aspirations (please see guidelines document for full details).

If you are applying for more than one scholarship, please only select the scholarships that you are eligible to apply for.

In addition, the successful applicant may also request a grant of up to £250 for additional support with specific study costs, such as research expenses or travel to a conference.
