Hi everyone! How is your study going? I hope all of us have been having a wonderful time in our beloved University of Aberdeen. However, nothing is perfect. The University would be more than happy to hear your feedback on how they can improve and make your time here more enjoyable. Did you know that there are lots of opportunities to give feedback to the University?
-
Instant Feedback
Give instant feedback at any time! After submitting a message, you will receive an acknowledgement/initial response within 5 working days. Depending on the nature of the feedback, consultation may be required with other members of staff at the University of Aberdeen or AUSA, in which case the University will endeavour to respond fully within 20 working days.
-
Focus Groups
There are a number of focus groups organised throughout the year, all of which can be found on the Feedback section of the student website. Normally participants will get some sort of a reward to say thank you for taking part, such as a free lunch or print credits following the focus group session.
-
Academic Representative
Want to have some professional experience before you graduate? Be an Academic Rep! Not only it will look good on your CV, being an Academic Representative can also train you to become a better communicator as you will provide an important link between students, the University and AUSA in terms of feedback on learning and teaching experiences. Interested? Speak to your Course Coordinator for more information. -
Course Feedback Form
As the time comes towards the end of your course, you will be notified by email or by your Course Coordinator when a Course Feedback Form requires completion. You can give an insight on how you felt about the course, what you liked and disliked about it and what can possibly be improved. Don’t worry, this feedback form is anonymous

Aberdeen Student Experience Survey
Every year in November, through the Aberdeen Student Experience Survey, the University gathers student feedback on a range of University services, facilities and activities which helps inform the University on providing the best possible student experience for you. This is your chance to give out your honest opinions on these services.

National Student Survey (NSS)
The NSS is an annual census of nearly half a million students across the UK. The survey is intended for students in their final years to provide feedback on their courses in a nationally recognised format. Why is it conducted? The NSS is conducted for three main reasons:
(1) To inform prospective students in comparing courses at different universities/colleges,
(2) to help universities and colleges improve their courses, facilities and student learning experience, and,
(3) to support public accountability as it is also a mechanism for the general public to be provided with information about UK Higher Education.
